Twice a week during a year, I walked through the Calanques of Marseille, at different times of the day, to observe Cape Morgiou undulate, and listen to the planet spin. There I captured its sound and light waves, to craft generative AIs, along with my neural waves, via my diary. In the course of this journey, both sensitive and erudite, terrestrial and celestial, my latent extent took shape: the one that re\/bears in the Mediterranean climate, that comforts itself with the world, that passes through the universe. The e-cards re\/count my soul’s wanderings in these depths of the landscape; the probability ball exposes images that AI has generated from this journey. It probably re\/embodies itself as a techno\/scientific oracle, which commodifies our landscapes, to enchant our attentions, in remembrance of the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was developed in the context of a research-creation residency supervised by Peter Sinclair within the Locus Sonus Vit\u00e6<\/a> group of ESAAIX<\/a>, and a postdoctoral fellowship program supervised by Emanuele Quinz at EUR ArTeC<\/a> (Universit\u00e9 Paris 8<\/a>), in collaboration with the Reflective Interaction<\/a> group of EnsadLab<\/a>. The e-cards were created with the post-binary font BBB Baskervvol<\/a> authored by Bye Bye Binary et al. Thanks to Lucile Vareilles for collaborating on the AI-generated images, and to L\u00e9a Zou for accompanying the installation’s finish.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
